How the game works it out

Command/give writes the book with the written_book_content component: title, author, generation and pages
PagesEach page is a text component like /tellraw's: colours, bold and the other styles, click and hover actions
Turning pagesA change_page click action jumps to a page of the same book; it does nothing in the chat
Names and scoresSelectors, scores and key names on a page are filled in when a player first opens the book
Long commandsA /give longer than 256 characters does not fit in the chat; run it from a command block or a function
Checked in the gameEvery kind of page the generator writes was given in the game and read back
