About this wiki
Which version of Minecraft does this wiki cover?
Minecraft Java Edition 26.3. Every number on these pages was read from that version of the game.
Where do the numbers come from?
From the game's own files: recipes, loot tables, villager trades, mob attributes, block properties and world generation data.
Does it cover Bedrock Edition?
No. Bedrock Edition uses different values in many places, so only Java Edition is listed.
How do I find out what an item is for?
Open the item's page. It shows how the item is made, where else it comes from and what it is used for. An item with a great many uses shows the first of them.
How are drops and loot shown?
Each drop is listed with its amount and its chance. Where Looting, Fortune or Silk Touch change a drop, the page says how.
How are villager trades listed?
By profession and level. Each trade shows its price and how often it can be used before restocking. Villager trades also show the experience they give.
Where are the pictures from?
From the game's own models and textures. Items, blocks, mobs, structures and biomes are rendered from the game files.
