Tipped Arrow Effects
A Tipped Arrow gives its potion's effects for one eighth of the potion's duration.
Rules
| Timed effects | One eighth of the potion's duration, rounded down to whole ticks and never less than 1 tick. The effect level stays the same. |
| Example | Arrow of Poison gives 5.6 seconds (112 ticks) of Poison. Potion of Poison gives 45 seconds. |
| Instant effects | The arrow does not weaken Instant Health or Instant Damage. They are applied at the full amount for their level: 4 health points or 6 damage at level I. |
| Arrow damage | The effect is applied when the arrow damages a mob or player, in addition to the arrow's own damage. |
