Command
/transfer
Sends players from this server to another server.
| /transfer <hostname> [<port> [<players>]] |
| Argument | Kind of value | What to type |
|---|---|---|
| <hostname> | Text | The address of the server to send the players to. Put it in quotes if it contains characters other than letters, digits, dots, hyphens, underscores and plus signs. One word, or text in quotes. |
| <port> | Whole number | The port of the other server, from 1 to 65535. Default 25565. |
| <players> | Target selector | The players to transfer. Any number of players, given as a selector or a player name. Default: the player running the command. One or more players. |
| Permission level | 3: server operators with level 3 or higher |
| Works in | Exists only on dedicated multiplayer servers, not in singleplayer or LAN worlds. Requires permission level 3 (admins): server operators of level 3 or higher and the server console. Command blocks and functions run at level 2 and cannot use it. |
| Result | Reports which player, or how many players, are being transferred and the address and port they are sent to. Returns the number of players transferred. |
| Default port | Without a port, 25565 is used. |
| Default players | Without players, the player running the command is transferred, so from the server console the players must be given. |
| No players | Fails with "Must specify at least one player to transfer" if no player is selected. |
