Command
/setidletimeout
Sets how many minutes a player may stay idle before the server kicks them.
| /setidletimeout <minutes> |
| Argument | Kind of value | What to type |
|---|---|---|
| <minutes> | Whole number | The idle time in minutes, a whole number of 0 or more. 0 disables the timeout. At least 0. |
| Permission level | 3: server operators with level 3 or higher |
| Works in | Dedicated multiplayer servers only; it does not exist in singleplayer or in worlds opened to LAN. Needs permission level 3 (admins): the server console or an operator with level 3 or higher. Command blocks and functions cannot run it, because their permission level is 2. |
| Result | Reports "The player idle timeout is now N minute(s)", or "The player idle timeout is now disabled" for 0. The number /execute store saves is the number of minutes. |
| Turning it off | A value of 0 turns the idle kick off. |
| What happens | A player who has done nothing for longer than the set time is disconnected with the message "You have been idle for too long!". |
/setidletimeout 10Kicks players who have been idle for more than 10 minutes.
/setidletimeout 0Turns the idle kick off.
