Permission level2: operators, worlds with cheats on, command blocks and functions
Works inSingleplayer with cheats enabled, operators on multiplayer servers, command blocks and functions.
Resultadd reports "Added post effect <id> to <player>", remove "Removed post effect <id> from <player>", clear "Removed all post effects from <player>" (or the number of players when several changed). The number /execute store saves of add, remove and clear is the number of players that changed. list reports the player's effects and its result is how many the player has.
Sub-commandsadd gives players a screen effect, remove takes one away, clear takes all of them away and list shows which effects one player has.
Effect idsThe effects included in the game are minecraft:blur, minecraft:creeper, minecraft:entity_outline, minecraft:invert and minecraft:spider. Resource packs can add more. The command accepts any id and does not check that the effect exists.
Several effectsA player can have more than one effect at a time. The effects are saved with the player and stay until they are removed.
Failuresadd fails with "Player already has the specified post effect", remove with "Player does not have the specified post effect" and clear with "Player does not have any post effects to remove" when no chosen player changes.
