Command
/perf
Records the server's performance for 10 seconds and saves the measurements as a report file.
| /perf (start|stop) |
| Permission level | 4: server owners and the server console |
| Works in | Dedicated servers only: the command does not exist in singleplayer or LAN worlds. Needs permission level 4 (owners): operators with level 4 and the server console. Command blocks and functions cannot run it (their permission level is 2). |
| Result | start reports "Started a 10-second performance profiling run (use '/perf stop' to stop early)". When the run ends, the server reports how many seconds and ticks it covered and the average ticks per second, then "Created debug report in <file>". The number /execute store saves is 0. |
| Run length | A run ends by itself after 10 seconds. /perf stop ends it earlier. |
| Report file | The report is a zip file in the server's debug/profiling folder, named after the date and time, the world name and the game version. |
| Failures | start fails with "The performance profiler is already started" during a run; stop fails with "The performance profiler hasn't started" when no run is active. |
/perf startStarts a 10-second performance recording.
/perf stopEnds the recording early and saves the report.
