Command
/fetchprofile
Looks up a player profile (name, id and skin) by name, by id or from an entity, and offers clickable actions for it.
| /fetchprofile (entity <entity>|id <id>|name <name>) |
| Argument | Kind of value | What to type |
|---|---|---|
| <entity> | Target selector | A single player or Mannequin whose profile is shown. One entity only. |
| <id> | UUID | The id (UUID) of the player to look up. |
| <name> | Text | The player name to look up. Everything after name is used as the name. The rest of the line. |
| Permission level | 2: operators, worlds with cheats on, command blocks and functions |
| Works in | Operators on multiplayer servers, singleplayer worlds with cheats enabled, and command blocks and functions. |
| Result | Reports "Resolved profile for ..." followed by four buttons: Copy Component, Give Item (gives a Player Head with that profile), Summon Mannequin (summons a Mannequin with that profile) and a button that copies a text piece showing the player's face. The number /execute store saves is 1. |
| name and id | The profile is looked up in the background, so the answer arrives a moment after the command. If nothing is found, it reports "Failed to resolve profile". |
| entity | Reads the profile from a single player or Mannequin. Any other entity fails with "has no profile". |
| Result is always 1 | For name and id the command counts as successful as soon as the lookup starts, even if the lookup fails later. |
