Final boss quests
The 22 quests are messages from town NPCs, each given when its condition is met: at a player level, after a stage is cleared or after the final boss is beaten on a difficulty. The Story tab holds the opening and ending lines. [hero] marks where the game shows the hero's name.
Final boss
Given by Soraya, The Priest (City of Tazan) · Elysia, The Priest (City of Aldenreach) · Astrid, The Priest (City of Veldak).
"You’ve returned victorious, hero. But evil still lingers, and our work is not yet done."
"You’ve triumphed again, hero. Evil weakens, but one final battle remains."
"You’ve won us peace, hero. The evil is vanquished, and this town will remember what you’ve done."
Black Mist and Divine gear
Given by Lady "Shadow" (City of Tazan, City of Aldenreach and City of Veldak).
"So, you've made it to Nightmare. From now on, Legendary gear may emerge shrouded in Black Mist, both out in the world and among my wares. Bring such pieces to me; I know how to lift the mist."
"Inferno... few ever come this far. Here, Divine equipment can finally be found, both out in the world and among my wares. Guard such a treasure well."
