Difficulty

"Clear the final boss on Nightmare to unlock". Enemy health x6, damage x1.8, level 70. Experience x2. Per map level: +1% gold, +1% item find and +2 item levels. New drops: Divine and Set Runes.
Enemy scaling
On Normal, enemies of a normal encounter get a level between the stage's lowest and highest enemy level; elite and boss encounters use the highest. On Nightmare and Inferno every enemy outside the Mythic Rift is level 70, and the Mythic Rift is always level 70. Levels run from 1 to 70.
An enemy's health and damage are its base values times a level multiplier, times the difficulty's multiplier above. On Nightmare and Inferno an enemy outside the Mythic Rift is level 70 and, where it has them, uses its Nightmare and Inferno base values (listed under Nightmare and Inferno base stats). Each level multiplies health by 1.12 up to level 30, by 1.08 from 31 to 50 and by 1.06 from 51 to 70; damage by 1.1, 1.04 and 1.03. Elites have 3 times the health and 1.5 times the damage.
