Ancient, Black Mist and Divine Equipment

Ancient and Black Mist items are Legendary items from level 70 enemies, level 70 treasure chests and Mystery items bought at player level 70; Divine items come from a roll of their own at level 70 on Inferno, for Mystery items once Inferno is unlocked.

Ancient and Black Mist

A Legendary item (not Back) dropped by a level 70 enemy or found in a level 70 treasure chest has a 10% chance to be Ancient. On Nightmare and Inferno the Black Mist roll comes first, so the Ancient share there is 9.98%. An Ancient item costs twice the gold to upgrade and sells for twice the gold.

The same items have a 0.2% chance to be Black Mist on Nightmare and Inferno; a Black Mist item is never also Ancient.

A Black Mist item requires level 70, carries 7 hidden attributes revealed by Lady "Shadow" and stays tradable until its mists are revealed.

Divine

Every item roll of an elite, mini-boss or boss encounter of level 70 on Inferno first tries a Divine roll: the chance below, x (1 + 0.3 x Item Find) and x the stage bonus.

EncounterChance per roll
Elites0.0003%
Mini-bosses and bosses0.001%
Mythic Rift bosses0.002%

Each item in a treasure chest of level 70 opened on Inferno has its own Divine roll, x (1 + 0.3 x Item Find). A Divine Back item is picked 10 times less often than another Divine item. Divine equipment can be traded.

At player level 70 a Legendary Mystery item has a 0.2% chance to be Black Mist once Nightmare is unlocked; if it is not Black Mist, it has a 10% chance to be Ancient.

At player level 70, once Inferno is unlocked, a Mystery item first tries a Divine roll: 0.007% x (1 + 0.3 x Item Find).

Drop chances are the game's rules for offline characters; the game server decides the loot of online characters.
