Every Parafolk ages through 8 life stages from Baby to Elder. Each has a defined age range, in-game duration, and gradually unlocks personality categories. 3 duration scales let you control the pace.

Every Parafolk ages through 8 life stages from Baby to Elder. Each stage covers a defined age range and lasts a set number of in-game days at Normal speed. The baby and toddler years are the shortest - just a few days - while Young Adult is the longest at 22 days. Elder stage lasts 14 days at Normal speed, matching the Teen stage exactly.

Growth spurts appear during the Child, Pre-Teen, and Teen stages. These are moments where a Parafolk’s personality can shift, reflecting the reality of development in those years. Teens receive the most growth spurts of any stage (4 total), giving players the most opportunities to refine a Parafolk’s character before adulthood locks in the core personality foundation.

Personality categories unlock gradually as a Parafolk ages. Stats become available from the Toddler stage onward. Talent unlocks at Child. Vibe arrives in Pre-Teen. Teen stage adds Social and Lifestyles. Baby Parafolk and those below the Toddler threshold cannot be created in the Paramaker - the youngest Paramaker-eligible starting stage is Teen.
