Use Interactions for more items (BETA)

Add interactivity to more objects in game, fueling that immersion we all crave!

This mod is currently in BETA, so features may change, break, or be removed as Paralives updates and modding tools improve.

🍚 Rice Cooker

Make single and group servings of white rice straight from the machine. Cooking original recipes from the fridge will now also use the rice cooker where the player has unlocked the skill and has the appliance.

☕ Coffee Machines Adds working coffee machine interactions. Coffee costs $5 and increases your rest by 2 bars. But caffeine has consequences....so it decreases your bathroom by 1.

🍞 Toaster Interactivity Make existing toast meals directly from the toaster, and all current toast meals to use the toaster instead of the stove NOTES *currently not eggs on toast **You now have to read the toaster manual in order to unlock the recipes, this is found on the bookshelf

Read the Manual System A system where usage of certain devices (rice cooker, toaster, fridge) is gated behind reading an instruction manual first.

🧽 Dirty and Broken States for Appropriate Items Add dirty and broken states to modded items where it makes sense.

☀️ Working Solar Panels Investigating whether solar panels can be made to reduce electricity bills.

🧂Cupboards as Ingredient Sources Use cupboards as places to grab ingredients from before preparing meals.

🫖 Tea Pot Interactivity Add usable tea pot interactions for making hot drinks. Possible options include: -Brew tea -Make a single cup of tea -Make tea for a group -Different tea types in the future -Possible small Sleep or Comfort effects

☕ Rework Coffee Machine -Rework interactions to use the same system as toast (vanilla meals made through the appliance. -Allow standing or sitting coffees More Coffee Types Possible drink options include: -Latte -Long black -Cappuccino -Other community suggestions *Note the visual replacements may come later

Microwaves and Ovens as interaction points for certain recipes (thanks to Piney Cones for the suggestion)

🎨 Logos and Icons and better anims Tune current anims for missing details Add missing thumbnails for: -Actions -Menus -Appliance interactions

9. Investigate Wheelchairs (thanks to Piney Cones for the suggestion) Investigating a wheel chair system where the player can move around in said chair -requires animations This is likely a long-term feature.

🧺 Working Washing Machines Investigating a laundry-style system where clothes slowly pile up near the shower and need washing. This is likely a long-term feature.

🍙 Rework Rice Cooker anims and allow all recipes to be triggered form the rice cooker -Fix some of the cooking anims where the pot on stove animation is just a white liquid -Rework interactions to be able to trigger all rice cooking from the rice cooker
