The Sullivan Household

Life in the Sullivan home has never been picture-perfect, but somehow, that’s what makes it feel real.

After losing his wife years ago, Ethan Sullivan devoted himself entirely to raising his daughter, Kaela. Balancing work, bills, and parenthood on his own hasn’t been easy, but Ethan does everything he can to give Kaela a stable and loving home. Quiet, dependable, and a little overprotective, he’s the kind of dad who stays up late waiting to hear the front door unlock after curfew — even if he pretends he wasn’t worried.

Kaela, meanwhile, is at the age where independence matters more than anything. Creative, outspoken, and endlessly curious, she’s trying to figure out who she wants to become beyond the small routines of their everyday life. Though she clashes with her dad from time to time, especially over rules and freedom, the bond between them runs deeper than either of them admits out loud.
