[Sophia J Caldwell] Write Your Own Chalkboards

This mod takes the town chalkboards and adds editable text, so you can create your own signs, menus, messages and displays. Simply click the text box in Build Mode and type your own message. Text uses Paralives' standard text-entry system, with no additional formatting or editing controls.

4 chalkboards included

• Standing Chalkboard
• Tabletop Chalkboard
• Wall Chalkboard - Portrait
• Wall Chalkboard - Landscape

Each chalkboard has a background hand-painted by me.

The boards are resizable, and you can customize the frame color/texture and chalk color.

SPECIAL CHARACTERS ------------------------

You can use special characters to create simple icons and decorative motifs. Copy a character from the list below on this Workshop page, then paste it into the chalkboard's text box in Build Mode.

Windows Ctrl + C to copy, Ctrl + V to paste

Mac ⌘ + C to copy, ⌘ + V to paste

I've tested the characters below in-game and found that they work on my system. However, they may or may not work depending on your system/settings.

WHERE TO FIND THEM -------------------------

The Standing and Tabletop Chalkboards can be found under Misc Decor. The Wall Chalkboards can be found under Wall Decor. You can also find all four by searching “Chalkboards” in the Build Mode search bar.
