38 Leblanc Street - Reed Household Renovation

The Reed house gets a complete renovation with a fresh, more personal layout. The biggest change was making room for Lian Reed's career as a personal trainer. The old gym on the first floor has been moved into a dedicated space inside the newly built-out attic giving him a proper home gym with plenty of space for training as well as a WC. That freed up the first floor for a much more functional study, moving the desk from the stair landing into a proper dedicated room including built-in book shelves and a cozy reading nook tucked underneath the newly opened up space underneath the stairs. The stair landing depth was reduced to give way for a larger study and the entire first floor ceiling height was reduced to give it more appropriate proportions. The living room, kitchen, dining area, bedroom and bathroom were also completely redesigned with new finishes, furniture, lighting and plenty of character throughout giving it a modern yet cozy feel. The exterior received a refresh as well, while keeping the original character of the house intact.
