ParaPatterns adds Patterns, a new personality system built around emotional reactions and meaningful recovery. Rather than simple bonuses, Patterns change how Paras interpret life's ups and downs and what helps them heal.

Current version includes

3 fully implemented Patterns Unique negative and positive status effects Custom trigger and recovery logic Gameplay effects tied to emotions, social interactions, school, occupations, and exploration

Current Patterns

🏆 Perfectionist

This Para sets high standards for themselves and takes failure to heart. Occupation strikes and setbacks trigger Fell Short, a lingering state of stress and sadness. Making progress helps them recover through Back on Track, boosting inspiration and learning speed at the cost of rest.

🫀 People Pleaser

This Para values harmony and connection. Embarrassment and awkward social moments can lead to Second Guessing, causing them to replay interactions long after they happen. Spending time with others and sharing joyful moments helps them become Reconnected, restoring happiness and strengthening social bonds.

🌎 Restless

This Para craves novelty and new experiences. Spending too long at home can leave them feeling Stir Crazy, restless, bored, and eager for a change of scenery. Exploring the world and breaking from routine helps them become Refreshed, inspiring them to learn, grow, and embrace whatever comes next.
