Luna Rose Marlowe Born: October 18th Luna Marlowe grew up in a family that wasn't particularly close. Her parents weren't necessarily cruel, but they weren't the kind of people Luna could rely on when things got difficult. She learned early to keep her problems to herself. She eventually met someone who seemed charming and confident. At first, the relationship felt exciting. Slowly, though, his behavior changed. He became controlling and emotionally abusive, constantly making Luna question herself and isolating her from the people she did have around her. When Luna finally decided she'd had enough, she expected her family to support her. They didn't. Some told her she was exaggerating. Others suggested she should try to work things out. A few simply didn't want to get involved. That hurt almost as much as the relationship itself. So Luna made the hardest decision of her life. She left. She didn't make a dramatic announcement. She didn't wait for everyone to understand. She packed her belongings, took the money she'd managed to save, and drove to a town where nobody knew her. For the first time, Luna wasn't someone's daughter, someone's girlfriend, or someone's problem to manage. She was just Luna. And she intended to figure out who that person was.
