Small Pet Mod Pack

hi! this is kind of a big pack, so hopefully everything works as intended! ;u; i had a ton of fun making this! this is a small pet kit complete with hamsters, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, rats, ferrets and chinchillas! there are 3 types of habitats: a hamster habitat, critter habitat, and a c&c cage! there are also various decor items and essentials such as wheels and hides. everything is a basegame surface for now! once they fix the custom surface bug, i will make the more detailed pet patterns proper greymasks for easy recolorability (: for now, just solid pattern is able to be recolored ——— features • dedicated pet decor category and subcategories! find it after the festivities category with a doggy bone icon! • fully expandable/resizable c&c cage and mat! make it as big or as small as you need for your critters (: lookout isn’t able to be resized, and I recommend placing it before expanding the cage for ease of alignment! • lots of pet patterns! each has at least 5, and every pet except the hedgehog has a solid version that can be recolored! (hedgehog is a bit difficult to make recolorable atm) • interact with pet: feed a treat or talk to your new friend for a small need boost! • enable/disable pet animation: every pet has a simple idle animation (i dont reccomend turning on like 20 pets at once tho)! hamster is meant to animate on a wheel (: • habitat doors can be opened and closed for ease of decoration! for example: place down hamster habitat, tab into live, open the door, and tab back into build! • every habitat becomes dirty every 5 days, so keep up with it to maintain a comfortable environment for your para! included items • hamster: 6 variants • rat: 6 variants • guinea pig: 8 variants • hedgehog: 5 variants • chinchilla: 6 variants • ferret: 6 variants .-.-. • hamster habitat • c&c cage + lookout + divider • critter habitat .-.-. • 3 food bowls • dust bath bowl • 3 hides • c&c cage mat • wheel • water bottle • small ball pit • food bag • treat bag • litter box (size items like the wheel and water bottle up or down for the appropriate pet!) known issues • mat has a very small transparent line where resizing cuts are made, but i'm trying my best to fix it! • treat animation kind of breaks if the pet is already animating. if you'd like to see it without any issues, turn the pet animation off before feeding • all pets animate at the same rate/intervals. this is kind of a game limitation, and i don't want to clog the game with 97 different timings ): • cleaning animation uses a toilet brush(?) ill see if i can change it to a duster or something LOL • c&c cage turns blue after placing the lookout. idk why this happens, it seems to be a game bug! saving, exiting to main menu and re-entering the save fixes it (: coming soon • rabbits + hutches! • more toys, habitats, hides and decorations! • more in-depth treat interaction! • pet care skill and possibly rabbithole pet store job? ——— ty for reading! as always, please let me know if you encounter any other issues or have any suggestions for the pack!
