A Couple Lived-In Trailers

Versions of my trailers furnished and decorated, one for a small family trying their best and the other for a couple trying their worst. Despite their uncomfortable proximity, these two trailer houses are home to polar opposites. "The Duke" shelters a modest family who, though unable to afford more traditional housing, are trying to make a home of what they've got... except their teenager, who seems to be going through some sort of phase. Within "The Empress," however, resides a couple who are fully embracing the stereotypical "trailer trash" lifestyle, having inherited the once-loved house from a grandparent's estate. Two sides of the trailer park coin... which landed in a mud puddle. As when I built these, I wanted to emphasize the diversity possible in trailer homes. Rather than making the larger, recently renovated example the nicer of the two, though, I inverted - or maybe perverted - expectations. Duke gets the flowers and decor while Empress suffers careless ne'er-do-wells. Can't imagine the residents of Duke like the denizens of Empress, but they might be politely avoiding them rather than getting confrontational. The neighborhood doesn't need lit up by flashing lights. Under $50,000. Each trailer has two bedrooms and one bath. Empress is larger but poorly appointed, Duke is smaller but seems inhabited by reasonable paras. Both feature some mod clutter items to really sell these disparate lifestyles, so those are listed as required. Watch that you don't cross that imaginary property line!
