What this mod adds
My Historic Cabin, decorated and furnished for a history-loving couple who don't actually need so many chairs.
This cabin was initially built as a simple one-room-and-loft shelter in the mid-1800s, during that high time for frontier expansion. Over the next 150 years, it was expanded, bettered, renovated, rearranged, worsened, abandoned, and eventually restored as much as it could be. While the saltbox addition has been maintained as a space for modern amenities like plumbing and privacy, the bulk of the cabin's original structure is lovingly preserved as a functional reflection of life lived almost 200 years ago. The childless partners who have made it their primary interest and investment don't mind living mostly in the rear third of the house, and are hopeful they will someday have enough dinner guests to fully seat the massive serving table.
So, yes, as impressively appointed as the main cabin is, this remains a small home for no more than two parafolk... unless you want to retool the entire cabin, in which case just get my original unfurnished version! This decorated version is not overly cluttered, and honestly is fairly modest in the actual living space, with the focus being on making a showpiece out of the cabin's character. A lived-in museum, in a way. That said, it should be fully functional for paras to make a life in, especially if they like sitting around in a wide selection of (probably uncomfortable) chairs.
About $45,000 to place. One (cramped) bedroom, one bath. Fits easily on most mid-sized and large lots around Melino. I only used one mod for some minor clutter in this one, so that's listed as required. As a bonus, the house comes with everything in the loft attic.
Also I only noticed the clipping shutter in the screenshots after uploading. Was fine when I built it. Paralives: Early Access!
