Every raw material behind any item or building, with each intermediate craft.
Many items in Graveyard Keeper 2 are made of other crafted items: a Reinforced Plank is an Oiled Plank and two Bronze Details, and each of those is its own recipe. For a queued item or building, the calculator walks the whole chain down to the gathered logs, stone, ore and crops, and lists the intermediate crafts deepest-first, each after the crafts it depends on.

Every amount is the base value with no perks. Perks such as Blacksmith, Cook or Heat Saver make more per craft or burn less Fuel, so a perked character needs fewer materials than the total shown.

Calculator questions
Which recipe does it use when an item can be made more than one way?
The main recipe named after the item, preferring a hand craft over a scrap or auto-crafter route. Bronze Nails, for example, are counted from Bronze Ingots rather than Bronze Scrap. Every alternative is listed on the recipes page.
Are factory recipes included?
No. Factory benches make the same items in bulk for the conveyor line; the calculator counts the hand recipes of the workbenches.
Does it count Fuel?
Yes. Furnace, kiln and oven recipes list the Fuel they burn. A Firewood shed turns every 2 Firewood into 20 Fuel.
