Release to the Wild
Before animals can be released into Wildlife Reserves, they need to be assigned to a Release Group.
Release Groups can only accept animals already in Animal Storage.
A pending release group must have all its requirements met before it can be finalised.
Once you finalise a release group, juveniles will mature and all animals will acclimatise to their release area. These animals cannot be returned to your zoos.
Not ready for Release the status of a release group that is still pending (not yet finalised). A finalised group shows Ready for Release.
An Outpost needs to be built before you can release Animals into the Reserve.
Some Ecosystems can become Flourishing, which is required in order to release some Release Groups.
Sandbox when Enable release group generation is on, creating a release group also offers the button Generate Animals for Group: Will generate animals to fill this release group, making it ready for release immediately.
Enable ecosystem requirements: If turned off, Wildlife Reserve ecosystem requirements no longer need to be met for an ecosystem to become Established or Flourishing. This does not affect Release Group requirements.
