Planet Zoo 2 launches on 13 October 2026 at 15:00 BST on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The physical edition follows on 20 October.
How many animals are in Planet Zoo 2?
The Zoopedia lists 130 species at launch: 54 habitat animals, 34 aquarium species, 12 aviary birds and 45 exhibit animals. Some species live in more than one kind of enclosure.
Which animals come with the Deluxe Edition?
Six species are part of the Deluxe Edition: the Axolotl, Blue and Gold Fusilier, Golden Lion Tamarin, Great Hammerhead, Longfin Batfish and Western Diamondback Rattlesnake.
