Overview
The X-Otter is a small piscivore variant from Genesis: Part 1, modified with -3% Health and +5% Melee Damage. It is passively tamed and can be carried by larger creatures for transport. This dino is primarily used for its lightweight utility and ease of taming in snow biomes.
It can be airlifted by Argentavis, Desmodus, Griffin, Karkinos, Megalosaurus, Tropeognathus, Kaprosuchus, Procoptodon, Pteranodon, Quetzal, Tapejara, or Tusoteuthis for fast deployment across snowy regions.

The X-Otter is tamed passively, requiring no knockout or immobilization. Feed it Raw Mutton for the fastest taming, which grants the highest affinity. Cooked Lamb Chop also works, though it provides less affinity per use.
Taming takes about 9 minutes with 5 units of Raw Mutton at level 150 on Official settings. No narcotics are needed. Use the calculator below for your settings.

Drops & Harvest Resources
Killing an X-Otter yields Hide, Raw Meat, and Pelt. The Hatchet provides the best yield for Hide and Pelt, while the Pick maximizes Raw Meat harvest.
