Gear
The game's attribute list labels two different values "PvP Damage Increase". The columns above name them for what they do - the Amplifiers raise the damage you take, the Units lower it - which is how the game's own talent text describes the same values.
Every Amplifier, Unit and chip also comes as an Illusory copy, for example Illusory Attack Amplifier. An Illusory piece has the same stats as the normal one, but it is a temporary item: it works only in the match where it was found and cannot be taken out on evacuation.

Ranks
Operation: Egg Heist has seven ranks: Rookie Egg Hunter, Rising Egg Scout, Pro Egg Snatcher, Elite Egg Seeker, Expert Egg Raider, Egg Heist Master and Egg Emperor. Each rank is split into tiers. Your rank sets how many Lucky Chests you can earn a day, their quality and your number of Chest slots, and it unlocks the Team Mode difficulties. Rank Points come from extracting successfully with items of sufficient value, and your first successful extraction each day earns double Rank Points.
Rookie Egg Hunter (tiers III to I)
Rookie Egg Hunter III: Own 1 Lucky Chest slot. Maximum of 4 Chests can be earned per day. Rookie Egg Hunter II: Successful evacuation drops up to a Rare-quality Lucky Chest. Reward: Attack Amplifier, Protective Unit. Rookie Egg Hunter I: Reward: Blue Essence, Rusted Iron Key.
Rising Egg Scout (tiers III to I)
Rising Egg Scout III: Unlock Hard difficulty for Operation: Egg Heist Team Mode.
