ARK: Survival Ascended features the X-Rex as a tamable, carnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. It belongs to the Variant category.

Its base Melee Damage sits at 105%, giving it solid damage output. The X-Rex has 1,067 base Health - quite durable. Stamina sits at 420 base, providing good endurance. Weight capacity starts at 500, giving it an enormous weight pool.

To tame the X-Rex, you need to knock it unconscious using torpor weapons, then feed it while it's down. For best results, use Exceptional Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.

As a tame, the X-Rex is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 32°C–34°C temperature window.
