What this mod adds

This house is a Workshop version of my gameplay house with just the basic necessities and swapping out some of the furniture with cheaper versions for the starter house. The original lot is 3, 365 Paradimes so together with the cost of the house it comes to 31, 433. I may re-upload a version taking off the 1, 433 over the 30, 000, however in the meantime you can adjust your starter funds when you select your Storyteller, or you can use the money cheats to afford the home. Bulldoze the lot PRIOR to placing the house as there are rocks etc. that will show up in the house otherwise. Currently there is only 1 functional bedroom and 1 functional bathroom. I have the layout for additional bedrooms and bathrooms, some just need doors, lighting and furniture. I had to delete items to get the cost down to a starter home. Items that were swapped from my gameplay version: Removed the Pergola, and the lightning I had selected. Swapped out the dining room table and chairs and shortened the kitchen counters to just one stretched counter. Changed all the indoor lighting to cheaper lighting. Outside, I had placed columns using the advanced tool and lined the driveway and up to the fence to blend the terrain paint, however these would not upload properly so I deleted them. I had some issues with the molding appearing inside the house, however it was fine for the Steam upload. A few notes to consider: ** The tall windows must not touch the ceiling or floor or it does alter the width of the wall. ** So keep the windows under the molding if you change them out, or ensure they are not right close to the flooring. I think this might be a glitch so if your walls appear to be paperthin if you change the windows, then double check to ensure they are not touching the ceiling or floor. There is a separator wall in the 2nd floor bathroom just for the tiling next to the door. Also another separator wall on the 2nd floor to make a platform for the upstairs balconies. The balconies were raised up by 1 to make them a bit thicker so there is a small platform between the balconies inside for your Paras to step up on. There is also a separator wall leading out to the back deck, so the deck remains separate and can be recoloured. I did not put a separator wall in the kitchen for tiling as you may want to move it. The stair width was reduced just with the arrows. The transform tool was not used on them. I tried to use the grid where possible and 90 degree angles everywhere else. I kept the wall and floor paint as I have it in my gameplay build but as everything should be as a 'room', these should be easily recoloured. There are 6 roof pieces. They are coloured differently between the front and the back so the very top gabled roof is different in the front than in the back. The basement was created by sinking it into the ground using the 'move lot' function, however it should place perfectly for you. Other than the platform on the balconies and the space between them inside, the floor was not adjusted at all. You should have both floors and ceilings in each room. There is one area that I missed painting. On the 2nd floor the platform inside the house has black paint between the platform and the flooring, but it is missing beneath the front windows. Just copy the black paint from the center and paste it on the platform area on both sides at the bottom. If you encounter any routing issues or issues with the build please let me know !
