Roxas from Kingdom Hearts

Short version: Roxas was really challenging! Long version: Okay, so, Roxas is a deeply personal character to a lot of people, so I wanted to do right by our local Twilight Town odd job worker. Hair. oooooh wow the amount of fiddling with layers upon layers of hair. Hours and hours of messing with different vanilla and cc combos went into figuring out something close to his hair. Roxas' hair is spiked DOWN on the left half of his head and spiked UP on the right half. Roxas/Ventus both have this sort of...counterclockwise look to them? This combo of 5 hairs is what I've come to. If the hair glitches out, clicking the layers off and on tends to fix it. Shirt(s). Roxas is wearing two jackets, or maybe a vest and a jacket? The point being he's not just wearing a t-shirt, the vest/jacket underneath is zipped up all the way and has a huge "x" (Recusant's Sigil?) on it. The top jacket is left open, but has short sleeves so that blocked out literally anything that had long sleeves to use. The jacket has this distinct singular line made of up small squares. I couldn't find anything with a huge "x" on it so instead I just gave him the base game key necklace. At a certain point I just had to match the vibe of it all. Pants. His pants are, what I refer to as, "shorts but longer" it looks like he took shorts and buttoned/snapped on different pant legs or something. The top is a dark green-gray, there is a hard line where the new fabric starts, and the bottom is sort of a khaki/white color. The lazy version of this is to just give Sora's pod brother some khakis, which is easy enough to switch out if that's just what's best. Just know I tried. Shoes: his sneakers have the drip and have a neat detail where there is this bright red line going down the middle of the toe. I was shocked the base crocs were able to sort of match this vibe, see formal outfit. His foot slider is maxed out, someone might be able to pull off a better look with the clown shoes? The point of all of this is that I have been staring at summer-vacation-is-over-boy's clothes for a long time now and I have done what I could between what I could use base game and what is available with cc. I have presented two solutions between casual and formal. There are many, many ways to approach these sort of complicated JRPG outfits. I encourage everybody to mess with his outfits and figure out what you personally think looks the best.
