The Brute Plesiosaur, an aquatic, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is well-known across multiple maps.

Health-wise, the Brute Plesiosaur sits at 5,100 base, making it extraordinarily tanky. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Brute Plesiosaur brings solid damage output to the table. Its base Stamina of 1200 gives it outstanding staying power. Weight capacity starts at 1200, giving it massive inventory space.

The Brute Plesiosaur cannot be tamed and must be dealt with through combat or avoidance. Breeding is via live birth rather than eggs, simplifying the process. Defeating one in the wild grants 30 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.42 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.

Raising a baby Brute Plesiosaur involves three maturation phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~694 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~46h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~58h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.

Imprinting during maturation provides permanent stat bonuses. At 100% imprint, the Brute Plesiosaur gains 30% bonus damage and resistance when ridden by the imprinter. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.
