Millennial Home Makeover: Samantha

Workaholic 'Girl Power' Millennial, Samantha Stark, had no time or patience for interior design. When her mutual animosity for coworker Julien turned mutually lustful, he walked her home, and immediately swerved her as she opened the door to what he tells their other coworkers was "Grandma Not-Chic", among other ruder things. Embarassed, sexually frustrated, with the millennial patriarchal urge to please toxic men, and with a creativity stat of 0, Samantha created a pinterest board. It was beige. The beige boxes of beige furniture arrived over the next 3-5 business days. Soon after, she hooked up with some loser off the worst app, the type who has strong feelings about not wanting to wipe himself sufficiently. But it was too late, the beige furniture could not be saved. Sobbing through the liminal labyrinth of Ikea, Samantha fell to her knees on the big pile of rugs, and prayed to Goddess Kallax for a sign. That very moment, she was struck by a projectile Blahaj. As she stood up to find who she needed to give unsolicited parenting 'advice' to... There it was. The houseplant section. Her new 'personality'... So anyway, she copied and pasted Ikea showrooms into her house, adopted a cat and a smol pupper (sorry), and now spends her mornings eating her avocado toast surrounded by the interior design version of impostor syndrome. Julien will come over at 2am now though. He's happy that he doesn't need to neg Samantha so much, now that she's trapped herself in her own constant source of insecurity. It's not all bad though - her pets are teaching her confidence, playfulness and self-love. She's slowly learning that she can take up space, and that her living space is just a thing full of things.
