This is the cozy 3 bedroom/1 bath family home of artist Mira Valles, creator of the popular Melino poster. Mira paid her way through art school selling prints of her painting and continues to earn most of her household income through sales, both at the museum gift shop and online. Now that her youngest child is in school and her teen daughter handles all the online marketing and shipping of prints, Mira dreams of focusing on making new work in an inspiring detached art studio in the back yard...a light-filled space for painting as well as all the business aspects of her art profession, so as to make more space for family activities in the house. She's hoping #DesignMeDevon will create the studio of her dreams (and maybe also give the family a lovely garden view to enjoy too! Mira has local planning permission for the construction of a structure that does not exceed half of the house footprint and is no more than 2 stories high. Unfortunately the house faces a cliff side and has no view to speak of, but it is conveniently located near bus stop G. #thiscozynook
