Inventory and Salvage
How many items of each kind a hero can hold, and the rules for salvaging items into Emeralds.
Inventory space
| Category | Items held |
|---|---|
| Melee weapons | 80 |
| Ranged weapons | 80 |
| Helmets | 80 |
| Chest armor | 80 |
| Leggings | 80 |
| Boots | 80 |
| Artifacts | 80 |
| Talismans | 80 |
| Capes | 80 |
| Pets | 80 |
| Enchantment books | 200 |
| Quest items | 100 |
Each category fills up on its own. When a category is full, the Town Merchant will not complete a purchase of that kind until some items are salvaged.
Salvage
Salvaging converts an unwanted item into Emeralds and frees its inventory space; the item is deleted. Multi-Salvage salvages several items at once, and Undo Salvage brings items back for an undo cost. Favourited items cannot be salvaged, and some item types cannot be salvaged at all. Enchantment Points used on an item are refunded when it is salvaged or disenchanted.
Quest items
Quest items have their own category of up to 100. Quest items handed out by the quests include:
| Item | Quest |
|---|---|
| Wooden Planks | The Illagers from the Rift |
| Honeycomb: Honeycomb used to build new beehives. | The Illagers from the Rift |
| Soul Candle: A special candle that ominously glows blue. | The Creeper Candle Conspiracy |
