The Roll Rat is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Farmer category.

At 850 base HP, the Roll Rat is quite durable. Melee starts at 100% - respectable melee power that scales with level-ups. Its base Stamina of 300 gives it moderate endurance. Weight capacity starts at 400, giving it a solid weight pool.

The Roll Rat is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out. Its preferred food is Giant Bee Honey.

Once tamed, the Roll Rat is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. Defeating one in the wild grants 7 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.45 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
