To tame a Phoenix in Ark : Survival Evolved, begin your search during a Superheat event in the Scorched Earth desert.Once spotted, the Phoenix must be set aflame, either using a Fire Wyvern or flaming arrows, and kept alight throughout the taming process. It’s important to note that weapon quality impacts taming speed; for instance, a 200% damage bow will tame the Phoenix twice as fast as a 100% bow. Continuously reignite the Phoenix as needed, ensuring its safety from other threats. Upon successful taming, the Phoenix will be reborn from its ashes, ready to serve as a powerful and mystical ally. However, be mindful of taming effectiveness and taming times, as the Phoenix operates under unique calculations. Also, the Phoenix has a distinct diet, preferring sulfur over more common foods.
The Phoenix is passively tamed - no tranquilizers required. Approach carefully and hand-feed it.
