Generate spawn commands for the Onyc below - customize level, tame status, and variant. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.
ARK supports several command types: "Summon" spawns a random-level creature at your crosshair, "SpawnDino" lets you set coordinates and level, and "GMSummon" spawns a force-tamed creature. GMSummon is the most convenient for getting a tamed Onyc immediately. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
Summon spawns a wild Onyc.
SpawnDino spawns a wild Onyc at level 150.
Level
GMSummon spawns a tamed Onyc at level 150.

ForceTame tames any dinosaur and makes it rideable without a saddle, and DoTame only tames tamable creatures.

The Onyc, a tamable, flying, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is well-known across multiple maps. It falls within the Flyer classification.
The Onyc has 250 base Health - relatively fragile. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Onyc has solid damage output. With 100 base Stamina, the Onyc has tires quickly. A base Weight of 50 means not built for hauling.
This is a passive tame: no tranquilizers needed. Get close without startling it, then offer food from your last hotbar slot. Its preferred food is Raw Mutton.
As a tame, the Onyc is commonly used for scouting and quick travel between locations. Breeding is via live birth rather than eggs, simplifying the process. A wild Onyc is worth 3 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.02 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
