Pet Genus Insight
Every pet in AION 2 belongs to one of five genera: Cogni, Fera, Natura, Varian and Special. Pets raise Pet Insight with their souls and Genus Insight with EXP; Genus Insight Analysis rolls a property in each of 9 slots.
Pet Insight
Obtaining a pet's soul deepens your insight into that pet. Each Pet Insight level unlocks the next Owned Effect of the pet's genus and grants Genus Insight EXP.

Genus Insight Analysis
Slot 1 opens at Genus Insight Lv. 1 and each level up to Lv. 9 opens the next slot. An analysis costs 4 Soul Crystals of the genus (or plain Soul Crystals) and 1,000 Kina; locked slots keep their property and raise the cost.
