The Abyss opens at level 45. Its map is Chaotic Lower Reshanta, where Elyos and Asmodians spend Lower Abyss Access Hours, earn Abyss Points and Rank Points and fight the Artifact Siege.

Lower Abyss Access Hours
Usage time will be deducted while inside the Lower Abyss. Basic usage time will be reset to 7 hours after the weekly reset.

Abyss Points
Abyss Points accumulate as they are earned through PvE or PvP. Once the accumulated amount reaches the limit, only a small amount of additional Abyss Points can be obtained through Spacetime Rifts. The cumulative limit increases after the weekly reset.

Abyss ranks, Season 1
Season 1 ranks the Abyss by class: a character's place in its class's ranking and its Rank Points give its rank, from Ninth-Class Soldier up to Supreme Commander. A character needs 1,500 Rank Points to enter the ranking. Every rank from Ninth-Class Soldier up gives its own Season 1 title.

Artifact Siege
Artifact Siege runs in Chaotic Lower Reshanta on Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 21:00. Elyos and Asmodians fight for 3 artifacts: Reshanta's Root Artifact, Sulfur Tree Island Artifact and Archipelago of Siel's Wings Artifact. Holding artifacts raises the faction's Abyss Point gain.
