Switchback Staircase

A modern switchback staircase that brings a clean, architectural look to any home. Two straight flights turn around a small open stairwell, connected by two wide square steps at the back. Slim black metal balusters and a flat wooden handrail complete the look, and the inner handrail follows the slope diagonally across the back of the stairwell, just like a real staircase.

It looks great freestanding in an open room, and just as good built in between walls. Switch off the outer railings you don't need and the staircase fits neatly into your stairwell.

The set also includes the Switchback Railing, a matching fence with the same metal balusters and wooden handrail. Use it to close off the floor opening upstairs, or anywhere else in your home.

Switchback Railing (fence)

• Found in Build Mode under Fences

• Works like any base-game fence: draw, stretch, turn corners and connect

• Posts only at the ends and corners, with no extra posts along the way

• The same balusters, wooden handrail and height as the staircase railing

• 2 recolor/retexture options: Railings and Handrails

• Tip turn off grid snapping to line the fence up exactly with the staircase's top post

• Adapts to your wall height
