Patch Notes
What each game update changed, newest first: items, recipes, shops, drops and other values in the game.
30 October 2026: NPC aggression
Enemies now attack players near them on their own: the closest hostile player within 8 metres (3 metres up or down). An enemy leaves a player alone if that player's combat level is 20 or more above its own.
Ashen, the Darklands skeletons, Forest Spiders and the Crimson Weaver leave a player alone only from 35 combat levels above their own.
Bosses do not attack on their own. Entering a boss's arena starts the fight unless the player's combat level is 30 or more above the boss's.
Animals (Boar, Cow, Elk, Hen, Horse and Rooster) and the enemies a boss calls into its fight do not attack on their own.
Fish Scales are now a resource.
23 October 2026: Gloam Festival and bank placeholders
Thomas Granger has a Gloam Festival conversation and shop and stands in a new spot. Goblins ransacked his cart on the way to the city for the Gloam Festival, smashed his pumpkins and ran off with his prize pumpkin.
New items: Pumpkin, Prize Pumpkin Seeds, three Chunks of Pumpkin, and Pumpkin Head, a head cosmetic with a gold value of 1,000. Thomas Granger sells Pumpkin for 15 coins and Prize Pumpkin Seeds for 50 coins.
New recipes: Pumpkin Healing at the cauldron (Prize Pumpkin Seeds, 25 Essence and 10 Pumpkins; Potion Making 10; 10 Potion Making XP) and Pumpkin Head at the assembly table (the three Chunks of Pumpkin; Smithing 10; 10 Smithing XP). Pumpkin Healing's description reads "Used to repair pumpkins."
Shield of Eadmund: the recipe also needs Dusk Knight Schematics as a catalyst, which is not used up.
Volcanic Ring and Volcanic Ward: the Smithing requirement (50 and 60) now uses the current Smithing level instead of the base level, so a level boost counts.
Two new people live in Valen City: Avice Copperfield and Elowen Oakhaven.
The bank can leave an empty placeholder in the slot of a stack that was taken out.
16 October 2026: fixes
Magical Antler (Elk): the drop chance per roll stays 1%, but the protection against long dry streaks now starts after 100 Elk instead of 25.
Attack and Strong Attack potions have new colours.
Crushed Large Fang has a new description: "Could reduce this into something." Thirty stats gained in-game descriptions, for example "Increases defence against fire weapons."
Elven Chests: each chest's untradeable rare item now rolls on its own (10%), separately from the other rare item (1%), so one opening can give both.
Silvissira: the Elven Key drop is now 5 to 7 keys at 11.5%, up from 4 to 6 keys at 9.09%.
Strong Attack potions changed colour from blue to orange.
