Veilwyn
To tame a Veilwyn, crouch and sneak up on it (Ghillie Armor helps). When close enough, a claim prompt appears — interact to claim it. If spotted, it clones itself and you must wait for the clones to despawn. Once claimed, evolve it into a Solwyn (defensive, using Pristine Vulpite) or Malwyn (aggressive, using Corrupted Vulpite).

The Veilwyn is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Shoulder Pet category.
Melee starts at 100% - decent hitting power that scales with level-ups. At 200 base HP, the Veilwyn is on the squishy side. Its base Stamina of 260 gives it decent staying power. It carries 200 base Weight - a reasonable inventory size.
After taming, the Veilwyn earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward. Defeating one in the wild grants 18 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.04 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
