The Ichthyosaurus is found all over the ARKs. It's a tamable, aquatic, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It's in the Water classification.

With 100% base Melee Damage, the Ichthyosaurus has solid damage output. With 275 base Health, it's not super tanky. Its base Stamina of 300 is average. Weight capacity starts at 250, which is decent for carrying stuff.

You don't need to knock it out to tame the Ichthyosaurus. Just sneak up and hand-feed it its preferred food, which is Simple Kibble.

Once tamed, the Ichthyosaurus gives you safe and efficient underwater travel with good utility. It breeds via live birth, not eggs, so it's easier. A wild Ichthyosaurus gives 4 base experience when killed. You can clone it at a Cloning Chamber for 0.66 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
