Found throughout the ARKs, the Karbonya is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Soaker category.
With 200 base Stamina, the Karbonya has moderate endurance. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Karbonya has decent hitting power. The Karbonya has 700 base Health - solidly tanky. Weight capacity starts at 270, giving it a solid weight pool.
Taming the Karbonya requires rendering it unconscious first - use Tranq Arrows, Darts, or Shocking Tranq Darts to apply torpor. Regular Kibble is the most effective food for taming, offering the highest affinity per feeding.
After taming, the Karbonya is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 30°C and 34°C. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.64 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
