The Brute Astrocetus, a flying, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a common sight across multiple maps.

Its base Stamina of 900 gives it exceptional endurance. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Brute Astrocetus has decent hitting power. Starting at 10,000 Health, it's an absolute bullet sponge. A base Weight of 2500 means an enormous weight pool.

The Brute Astrocetus is a wild creature that cannot be tamed through conventional methods. Breeding is via live birth rather than eggs, simplifying the process. Killing a wild Brute Astrocetus yields 4 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.99 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
