Some Phantom Edges have uses beyond combat and can also aid exploration! The Dread Axe can cut through massive chains even when not equipped.

The Bow can shoot down hidden objects in high places even when not equipped.

The Hunter's Chain Sickle can latch onto special anchor points and pull Soul up even when not equipped.

The Bastion can block crossbow bolts, allowing Soul to venture deeper into dangerous areas even when not equipped.

The Bashpole can smash through weakened floors, even when not equipped.

Play the Illusory Pipa to dispel Illusion Barriers, even when not equipped.

The You Loong's Deluge can extinguish burning flame barriers even when not equipped.

The Tiger Cannon can blast through stone walls even when not equipped.

The Flying Guillotine can open special mechanisms placed by Huangxing even when not equipped.

Use the Flaming Mane to burn away bramble barriers, even when not equipped.

Press [Middle Mouse / RS] to Lock On

Press [Left Mouse / X] repeatedly to perform Standard Attacks

Press [F / Y] repeatedly to perform Sha-Chi Attacks

Sha-Chi Combos consume Sha-Chi

Sha-Chi Combos will break enemies' guard faster!

Press [1 / D-pad Left] to switch weapons!

Switching weapons fully restores Sha-Chi

Switching weapons has a short cooldown

Press [Left Ctrl / RT] to use Phantom Edge for powerful attacks!

Using a Phantom Edge consumes Remnant Spark. Uses are restored at Bells.

Equip two Phantom Edges and use [2 / D-pad Right] to switch between them.

Power Surges consume one Sha-Chi Essence

[Q / LT] Power Surges can interrupt powerful enemy skills! [F / Y] Sha-Chi Attacks to build Sha-Chi Essence faster!

Approach unaware enemies from behind and press [E / B] to assassinate

Sprint along walls to assassinate enemies.

Drop down to assassinate enemies below

[C / LS] to crouch in grass and avoid detection.

Enemies will still find you if they get too close!

Hold [Right Mouse / LB] to automatically block attacks by consuming Sha-Chi

[Right Mouse / LB] + Move while in Guard Stance

Guard Stance continuously drains Sha-Chi.

Blocking attacks drains additional Sha-Chi

Press [Right Mouse / LB] just before an enemy attack lands to perform a Parry!

Parry does not consume Sha-Chi. Instead, it severely depletes the attacker's Sha-Chi

Blocking a Blue-flash Attack drains massive Sha-Chi. However, tapping [Right Mouse / LB] at the exact moment of impact to Perfect Block will trigger a Ghoststep, instantly slipping behind your foe!

[Left Shift / RB] Backstep Dodge

+ [Left Shift / RB] Dodge in any direction.

Red-Flash Attacks cannot be blocked. Tapping [Left Shift / RB] at the exact moment of impact triggers a Ghoststep, allowing you to slip behind your foe!

[R / D-pad Down] to use medicine

Can equip two Medicine Flasks.

Press [T / D-pad Up] to use the second Medicine flask. Medicine can be adjusted in the [Esc / Menu] menu.
