Returning Home to Melino

Household...with full bio! Adding bio, oops!: Fifteen years ago, for Melino high, the "Celebration of Culture" was well underway. This event is planned yearly to encourage the community to come together to achieve big things and improve Melino as well as the rest of the world. The jocks were taking photos and being as rambunctious as ever. The brainiacs were working on showing off their latest projects. The volunteer-happy parafolks were guiding the festivities. Most parateens, however, were just hanging out and having fun. Maybe with love interests, maybe with friends, and maybe (in some cases) with their (:surprised face:) families! For James, in particular, all of the above was true. He arrived as a single soon-graduate to hang out with his best friend, Imogen, knowing they needed to put the finishing touches on their presentation and she had to finish her science fair project. He also had to take photos with the basketball team, complete a makeup final exam thanks to the grace of his history teacher, and volunteer in the dunking booth. He braced himself for a busy day when he saw Imogen waving at him to hurry and ran to catch her. In the same parking lot, Lincoln was lecturing his younger sister and her best friend about the plans for the day. He had to take photos with the team, complete volunteer hours for his scholarship (last opportunity), and (most importantly) meet with a GMBA recruiter to discuss whether or not he was a fit for their training program. He was, begrudgingly, instructed to look out for his sister AND her friend. So, if they needed something (REALLY needed something) he made sure they both had his number to call him. He reminded them that causing trouble would get them both on their parent's lists and impact their longterm plans. So, don't do anything he wouldn't do (mainly "getting caught" and "flirting with boys" so they shouldn't have to worry). He gave them the funds their parents sent and free roam of the fairgrounds with one more reminder to stay out of trouble...and out of his way...then, he went to do his thing with a promise to meet back up with them by 10 pm since curfew was 11.
