Blood Moon Card Pack - Negative Story Cards

**Made to work in conjunction with my Eclipse Story Cards Pack mod but is a standalone mod**

Did you choose Ricardo as your storyteller only to find that when the clock struck midnight his story cards are exactly the same as the other two "easier" storytellers? Are you the kind of person who wants their para's lives to be just a little harder? Well I've got a solution for you!

The Blood Moon story card pack adds 12 new story cards to Ricardo's hand with the same probability of showing up as the Sun and Moon cards both as individual cards and as a card pack. The Blood Moon pack is meant to be the antithesis of the Moon pack adding general negative outcomes such as taking away money, adding work strikes, removing friendships and if you're very (un)lucky it can even cause spontaneous fires!

You must've left a candle lit - WARNING WILL CAUSE FIRE

Item closest to para will set on fire :) (only works on home lot)

Para must own a home lot. Fire will only start on a home lot due to the fire restrictions.

Adds 5 filled garbage bags to the household inventory

Lose $250

Para must have at least $250

Someone broke in and stole money from you.

Lose $1000

Para must have at least $1000

You made a big mistake at work that just got noticed.

Para gets +1 Work Strike

Para must have a job

Your child accidentally broke something expensive and now you have to pay for it.

Lose $200

Must have a para pre-teen or younger in the household

Say bye to one of your work perks!

Lose 1 random work perk

Para must have all work perk slots full

You lose touch with a friend.

Removes friend status between para and randomly selected friend

Para must have at least one friend

Uh oh! More homework for you.

Para gets +1 homework per day permanently

Para must be a teen or younger

Oops, someone left this on your doorstep. Guess you have to take care of it now.

Congrats! Para adopts a baby

Para must be young adult or older

Para's hunger bar is set to 1

This mod is up to date as of the May 29th, 2026 patch. This pack should not conflict with other mods that affect story cards as long as the other mod doesn't delete the normal hand or remove it from Ricardo's hand. This mod is named after a piece of code that's already in the game so hopefully it will become obsolete when the paralives team adds their own cards!
