도도 Abilities

The 도도 is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Misc category.

Stamina sits at 100 base, providing limited endurance. Melee starts at 100% - respectable melee power that scales with level-ups. The 도도 has 40 base Health - extremely fragile. Weight capacity starts at 50, giving it minimal inventory space.

The 도도 is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. Feed it Basic Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.

After taming, the 도도 is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 22°C–30°C temperature window. A wild 도도 is worth 0.5 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.01 Element plus 0 Element per level.
