The 변종 에쿠스 is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It falls within the Variant classification.

Its base Stamina of 560 gives it respectable staying power. Melee starts at 106% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. At 230 base HP, the 변종 에쿠스 is relatively fragile. A base Weight of 350 means generous inventory space.

This is a passive tame: no tranquilizers needed. Get close without startling it, then offer food from your last hotbar slot. Its preferred food is Rockarrot.

As a tame, the 변종 에쿠스 earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward. A wild 변종 에쿠스 is worth 1 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.44 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
