How it plays

Playbook
The Jetpack is a secondary weapon added in version 0.3.0.0. Instead of shooting, it lifts you into the air on 8 units of fuel; right-click dives back to the ground and releases a burst that deals 20 damage to enemies within 800 game units of the impact. Its XP multiplier is 2.0.

Strategy

Its three Uniques change how the fuel works: Trail Pack (2 slots) leaves elemental puddles along the trail, Crash Pack (4 slots) doubles the fuel but halves the flight time, and Hover Pack (5 slots) replaces the dive with a hover boost that costs fuel and swaps to your main weapon. They unlock at Jetpack level 30, 40 and 60. Flight Duration, Elevation Force and Fuel Ammo upgrades add 5% each, up to 10 stacks.

Strengths

  • Flies anywhere, so it reaches roofs, cliffs and objectives other weapons cannot
  • The dive burst hits every enemy around the landing spot
  • Doubles weapon XP (2.0 multiplier)

Weaknesses

  • 8 fuel and no reload: every flight has to count
  • The dive burst is its only damage

How to unlock

Collect Blueprints, then unlock it
  1. Blueprints drop during missions. Bosses and loot Coyotes drop them, and surviving the storm at an Anvil forges one.
  2. Blueprints are one shared currency, not a per-weapon count. Every Blueprint you pick up counts toward any weapon.
  3. Spend them on this weapon between runs. Unlocking it with Blueprints buys it outright, with no Gold cost on top.
